VIZ-Steel's management systems recertified as meeting international standards
Following a comprehensive audit, the British Standards Institution (BSI) certified that the management systems at VIZ-Steel (part of NLMK Group) comply with the requirements of international standards.
The BSI auditors scrutinized all the existing management systems of the company. They examined the existing technology processes and working documentation at all stages of grain-oriented steel production, visited the company's administration offices, cold rolling shop, repair and auxiliary departments, etc.
Following the audit, the BSI experts certified that VIZ-Steel's management systems are in complete compliance with the requirements of international standards. The auditors renewed the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Quality Management System Conformity and ISO 14001:2015 Certificate of Environmental Management System
Conformity until 2022, issued an ISO 45001:2018 Certificate of OHS Management System Conformity and recertified the ISO 50001:2011 Certificate of Energy Management System Conformity.
‘This year VIZ-Steel has successfully switched over to an updated version of the international standard which is used to evaluate the OHS management system. Regular confirmation that the elements of all our management systems comply with stringent international requirements testifies to the fact that our company constantly improves its business processes and further strengthens presence in world markets’, says Vsevolod Shabanov, head of the management systems department.
